Personal Bio

I grew up in Delaware Ohio. My dad worked in a manufacturing plant and my mom was a homemaker. I am the middle child, having an older brother and sister, plus a younger sister and brother.

When I was 6 years old my dad suffered an almost fatal accident at work, which permanently handicapped him. He was no longer able to work, so my older brother, sister and brother in-law pitched in financially to help support the family.

My dad and mom were very strong people. My dad was able to grow a vegetable garden each year and my mom went to work full time for Ohio Wesleyan University to help support our family.

They loved us unconditionally and taught us right from wrong and how to be good people.

I met my wife in high school, and we have been together over 40 years. She has the biggest heart; is the best person I know and my biggest supporter. My wife, kids, and now grandkids make me a much better person.

I had no idea what I wanted to do career wise and fortunately landed a job with Worthington Industries. Over the course of my career, I have been extremely blessed, having been mentored by some great people and given the opportunity to grow taking on additional responsibilities as I earned them.
