what are you passionate about
Improving the lives of other people. I was very lucky to have been mentored by someone that made a drastic impact to my life and changed the course of my career and life drastically. I am forever grateful for the opportunity that was given to me and the lessons that I have been taught along the way. I am extremely passionate about sharing that gift that I was given with our team members, our clients and our community. I love our community and everything that the Valley stands for and I’m passionate about continuing to help those around me.
fun fact
I enjoy baking cakes and cookies. I like to watch baking shows and experiment with creating things at home. I’m not sure how this happened or even why this happened but it’s been something that I’ve grown to enjoy more and more.
Best Piece of advice
“My original business partner, boss, friend, and mentor, Harold Davis imparted so many different pieces of wisdom onto me. The best piece of advice turned into something far more impactful than I ever imagined. “Pay someone to cut your grass”. He used something so simple to explain the most important concept that any of us can understand. The most valuable commodity you have is your time. Your time should be spent doing what you love and what you’re best at. I hated cutting my own grass, mostly because I’m extremely allergic to grass, but I generally never enjoyed the process. This piece of advice ended up being a lifestyle and a “mantra” so to speak. I found myself embracing this to the fullest extent. We continued to hire consultants in our business to do the jobs that they were best at, we built teams based on what people love to do, and I’m extremely cognizant of how I spend other people’s time. I feel strongly that that very simple piece of advice has been one of the largest contributions to the quality of my life. I spend my time doing what I want to do, with the people I want to do it with and I feel that my life is much better than I could have ever imagined as a result of that. ”
